RCB Retained Players WPL 2025: After IPL 2025, the retention list for the next season of the Women’s Premier League has been announced. This time, all the teams have retained some players due to the mini-auction.
Preparations for the upcoming season have begun in the Women’s Premier League. Accordingly, 10 franchises have released the list of players they have retained. The defending champion RCB has retained 14 players, including captain Smriti Mandhana. But unlike IPL, there is no mega auction in WPL. Instead, there will be a mini-auction. Thus, the franchises have retained the maximum number of players and dropped very few players from the team.

As per BCCI rules, each franchise is allowed to retain 18 women players in the team, out of which 6 foreign players must be retained. So I kept Danny Wyatt.
England captain Heather Knight and South African all-rounder Nadine de Klerk have also been released from the squad. Let’s know if RCB players are retained by WPL 2025.
Smriti Mandhana, Ellis Perry, Richa Ghosh, Sabbineni Meghna, Ranka Patil, Georgia Wareham, Asha Sobhana, Renuka Singh, Sophie Devine, Sophie Molyneux, Ekta Bisht, Kanika Ahuja, Kate Cross, Danielle Wyatt have retained 14 players.
RCB Released Players WPL 2025
Disha Kasat, Indrani Roy, Nadine de Klerk, Shubha Satish, Shraddha Pokerkar, Simran Bahadur, and Heather Knight including 7 players have been released by the RCB team.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise spent Rs 11.75 crore to retain 14 players. As of now, the Women’s Premier League has retained Rs 3.25 crore for the auction. The RCB franchise is now allowed to buy 4 players in the auction.
