Huawei Mate 70 Series: New smartphones from Huawei will hit the market in a few days. Huawei has finally revealed the release date of its Mate 70 series, the next generation of the Mate 60 series, in the fourth quarter of this year. The company revealed that it will introduce these at its ‘Huawei Mate Brand’ event.

Huawei has finally revealed the release date of its flagship Mate 70 series of smartphones. Huawei’s (CBG) CEO Richard Yu said the new series will be announced on November 26, 2024. However, Huawei’s official website and social media did not share any information.
The Huawei Mate 70 series consists of four smartphones: Huawei Mate 70, Huawei Mate 70 Pro, Huawei Mate 70 Pro + and Huawei Mate 70.
Huawei Mate 70 Series Features
The company has released a teaser image of its ‘Huawei Mate 70’. Tipster Smart Pikachu said in a post on Weibo that the Huawei Mate 70 series will come with significant updates such as satellite sensor support. It is said to feature new variable aperture technology and a periscope telephoto sensor. It also revealed the design behind it. The phone will have a massive camera bump with four lenses. Compared to the previous models, its new rear design is quite updated.
The Mate 70 Pro has a 6.88-inch quad-curved screen. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with ToF 3D face recognition support. The upcoming smartphones are said to feature 1.5K resolution displays.
The Huawei Mate 70 series is expected to feature the new HiSilicon Kirin 9100 chip. This SMIC is manufactured on a 6nm process node and is said to have performance equivalent to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. This mobile runs on the latest HarmonyOS.
Huawei Mate 70 and Pro series mobiles have 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. The company will bring this mobile in four colors Obsidian Black, Snow White, Spurs Green, Hyacinth Purple. The Mate 70 Pro Plus Mobile is available in 16GB+1TB variants in Ink Black, Feather White, and Gold with Silver and Blue colour options.
It also has a front camera with face recognition features. It has an optimized XMAGE back camera with variable aperture technology. The Huawei Mate 70 series has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50 MP primary sensor. For selfies, it has an 8 MP sensor camera.
The Huawei Mate 70 series gets a 6,000mAh battery, which comes with 88W fast charging support. Additionally, the series also supports 50W wireless charging and 20W reverse wireless charging.
