The film team has decided to release the movie ‘Kantara; Chapter 1’ on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, 2025 (Thursday). Hombale Films has made an official announcement. By the way, the movie ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ will be released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and many more languages.
‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ is being produced by Hombale Films on a grand scale. The historical Kadamba kingdom has been recreated in Kundapur. Most of the shooting is going on on this set. Actor and director Rishab Shetty has made special preparations for this film and for his role. He has been trained in Kalaripayattu, one of the oldest martial arts forms of Kerala.
Apart from Rishabh Shetty and Malayalam actor Jayaram, the film crew has not revealed any information about who else is in the film. Also, they have not revealed who is working in the technical department.
The budget of Kantara cinema is exactly 16 crores. However, its box office collection is at a huge level. That is, 450 crores is the box office collection. Due to this, the craze for this cinema is still there. Rishab Shetty also won a National Award for his brilliant performance in the film Kantara.
