A new and interesting feature has been added to WhatsApp, which is named the ‘Voice Message Transcript‘ feature. The company has introduced a new voice message transcription feature for WhatsApp’s Android and iOS platforms. With the help of this feature, any audio note can be converted into text. The special thing about this latest feature is that users do not need to listen to the video and they will be able to read it like a text message.
How is the WhatsApp voice message transcripts feature used?
The company has made this feature a part of the stable version. This means that for this feature you will have to update to the latest version of WhatsApp. After this, after going to the settings of WhatsApp, you will have to go to the chat section, where you will see the option of the voice message transcript feature. You need to enable the toggle that appears in front of it. After this, you need to select your language for transcription.
After this, the feature will be enabled and you will be able to use it very easily. All you have to do is long tap on the voice message, after which you will be able to read the audio message as a text message on your screen.
WhatsApp’s voice message transcription feature is great, but it is only available in select languages right now. It will be rolled out globally in the coming weeks and support for other languages will also be added. Currently, the feature supports English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian. 1. Open WhatsApp and go to Settings.
2. After this, tap on Chats options.
3. Here, the option of voice message transcription will be available. Turn it on and select your language.
4. Now, when you receive a voice message, tap and hold on to the voice message.
5. After this, tap on Transcribe.
