India First Subscription TV Launches: Features and Price

India First Subscription TV has been launched in India. It has been made with a strategy backed by Micromax Informatics. This Smart TV will be available in the Indian smart TV market from 1st December 2024 via Flipkart.

Introduced by Streambox Media through its Dor Smart TVs, it is the country’s first subscription TV. The Micromax-backed start-up’s smart TVs come with DorOS, which offers users subscription to over 300 live TV channels and 24 OTT apps including Amazon Prime Video, JioCinema, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, YouTube, and Lionsgate Play. This includes Zee5 etc.

This TV comes with a four-year warranty. The show can be watched on more than 24 online platforms including Amazon Prime, Jio Cinema, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, YouTube, etc. More than 300 channels can be watched in more than 10 languages. This TV operating system has an AI-powered search feature, which helps users easily select the entertainment program of their choice.

It is available in 43 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches. Of these, the upfront cost of the 43-inch TV set is Rs 10,799. In this, there is a one-time activation fee of Rs 9,999 for the TV and a monthly subscription of Rs 799. Users get a free subscription to the TV for the first month. After this, users will be able to customize the plan as per their choice. It will be available for sale on Flipkart from December 1, 2024. The other two models will be available for purchase from next year.

This doorbell’s first smart TV will be a 43-inch QLED TV with 4K Ultra HD resolution. It comes with Dolby Audio for an immersive sound experience, a solar-powered remote control and a companion app. The company is scheduled to launch its 55-inch and 65-inch variants early next year.

Current partners of the platforms will get premium OTT apps like Prime Video, Jio Cinema, and Disney Hotstar along with Zee 5, Sony Liv, Youtube, Discovery+, Sun Nxt, Aha, Dangal Play, Dollywood Play, Hungama, Stage, VR OTT, Distro TV, Chaupal, Playflix, ETV Win, Raj TV, and more.
