Motorola has created a new sensation again. The Moto X70 Air phone, launched in October 2025, ushered in a new era in the smartphone world. Measuring just 5.99 mm thick and weighing 159 grams, this phone was designed with the motto “light yet powerful”. It features a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz display, a powerful processor, a large battery, and an attractive design.
Design and Style

The main feature of the Moto X70 Air is its ultra-thin body. Measuring just 5.99 mm thick, this phone feels light in the hand. With a weight of 159 grams, it is very comfortable for daily use or even when held in the hand.
In terms of colours, this phone is available in three attractive Pantone colours: Lily Pad, Gadget Gray, and Bronze Green. The matte finish on the back and the gold decoration on the camera ring give it a premium look. Not only is the body material beautiful, but it also has an IP68 and IP69 rating, which means it is fully protected from dust and water. What’s special is that it is stronger than even very thin phones.
Display and Viewing Experience
This Motorola phone has a 6.7-inch P-OLED display. Its resolution is 2712×1220 (1.5K) and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. This makes scrolling, gaming, or watching videos smoother.
The screen brightness is 4500 nits, which is clearly visible even in brightly lit outdoor areas. The design looks elegant as a fingerprint sensor is provided inside the screen.
Overall, a thin phone is not just about style – the experience of using it is surprisingly high.
Performance and Software
The Moto X70 Air is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It is built on TSMC’s 4nm process and comes with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB / 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
There is a “3D Vapour Chamber Cooling System” for thermal management. This means that even though the phone is very thin, it can easily handle gaming or high-load tasks without overheating.
In terms of software, it runs on the latest Android 16 OS. This offers a smooth experience in everyday social media, video editing or gaming.
Camera Features
Motorola has not compromised in the camera department either. There is a triple camera setup on the back (main 50MP + ultrawide 50MP + depth sensor). The main camera has OIS (optical image stabilization), which gives clear images even in night mode or moving shots.
A 50MP selfie camera is provided on the front. It is suitable for video calling, selfies or shooting reels. Video shooting is possible at 4K @30fps.
Photos come out with realistic colour and intensity thanks to the camera AI enhancement.
Battery and Charging
It is common for thin phones to have low battery capacity. But the Moto X70 Air has changed that. This phone has a 4800mAh battery and supports 68W Turbo Charging. It charges 70% in just 30 minutes.
Apart from this, 15W wireless charging is also provided. This phone is protected from water and dust with IP68 and IP69 certifications.
All the modern connectivity options like 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, etc., are available. Although there is no microSD slot for storage expansion, the 512GB internal storage is more than enough.
Moto X70 Air Price
The Moto X70 Air was first launched in China and is expected to be available in other countries, including India, later. The price in China is reportedly around 2699 Yuan (₹29,999 – ₹30,999). This is said to be a mid-range premium segment phone in India.
