Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the new Honda CB125 Hornet on July 23, 2025. It is a premium naked sports bike in the 125cc segment, targeting the youth. It is suitable for young urban riders.
Engine and Performance
The Honda CB125 Hornet is powered by a 123.94cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. It produces about 11 hp of power at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. With a 5-speed gearbox, it reaches 0-60 kmph in just 5.4 seconds.

Design and Ergonomics
The design of the CB125 Hornet is sporty and attractive. The sharp tank extension, split seat and alloy wheels give it a powerful look. With a maximum ground clearance of 167 mm and a seat height of 790–795 mm, riders between 5’3″ and 6’ tall can ride it with ease.
Mileage and Range
Honda estimates the mileage of this bike to be 40–45 km/l. The 12-litre tank capacity gives a range of 480–540 km.

Bookings for this bike will begin from August 1, 2025. The ex-showroom price is ₹1.57 lakh, while the on-road price is likely to be ₹1.75–₹1.80 lakh.
