The HONOR Magic Pad 3 is set to redefine Android tablets. Unveiled at HONOR’s Tech Event in Shenzhen on July 2, 2025, the flagship device combines cutting-edge hardware, premium design, and software innovation.
Super Slim Yet Rugged Design
HONOR has pushed the boundaries of engineering with the Magic Pad 3. At an astonishing 5.79mm thin, it’s as slim as a smartphone – 0.1mm thinner than Samsung’s Galaxy S25Edge – yet weighs just 595g. The result? A tablet that’s sleek, lightweight, and incredibly durable.
Outstanding 13.3″ Display with Cinematic Flair
The Magic Pad 3 features a 13.3-inch high-res panel, delivering 3.2K resolution at a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, courtesy of HONOR’s “OASIS” LCD technology. With certifications for IMAX Enhanced, HDR10, and Dolby Vision, it sets a high bar for visual fidelity and eye comfort. This display delivers sharp, vibrant visuals – perfect for video binging, gaming, or artistic work.
Flagship-grade performance and vibrant RAM
The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen3, supported by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS storage, ensuring it competes with the best Android and laptop alternatives. This combination makes multitasking, gaming, and productivity a breeze.
Massive Battery with Fast-Charging Support
One notable feature is the massive 12,450mAh battery, which HONOR claims is the largest in its class. Even in a slim chassis, it supports 66W fast wired charging. Expect long usage times with quick top-ups – perfect for use on the go or on the go.
Enhanced Productivity: Stylus and Keyboard Support
Whether you’re an artist, a note-taker, or a mobile pro, the Magic Pad 3 supports HONOR’s Magic Pencil3 stylus and keyboard accessories – sold separately. You’ll enjoy 4,096 pressure levels, low latency, and smart software tools for writing, drawing, and app efficiency.
Premium Build & Connectivity
Built with a glass front, premium metal frame, and optional leather or metal back finishes (in colours Floating Gold, Starry Gray, Moon Shadow White), the MagicPad3 exudes luxury. Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.3/5.4, and USB‑C 3.2 with DisplayPort and OTG support.
Versatile Cameras and Audio
Expect a 13–20MP rear camera capable of 4K video, paired with an 8–12MP front camera – solid specs for conferencing, scanning, and casual snaps. Add an 8‑speaker spatial audio system with 3D sound and a four-microphone array, delivering immersive sound without headphones.
Software: Android 15 out of the box
The tablet runs Android 15 on top of HONOR’s MagicUI, offering all the latest features and long-term support. While HONOR hasn’t clearly outlined its update policy for tablets, recent signals suggest they’re expanding their “Magic” lineup to include long-term software support, though confirmation is yet to be made. Pending.
