Mahindra is making a big splash in the Indian electric vehicle market with its two much-awaited electric SUVs, the Mahindra BE 06 and XUV e9. Based on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform, they are attracting attention from customers with their attractive design and good technical features.
Mahindra BE 06 and XUV e9 Features
The BE.06 comes with a premium design – subtle cuts, C-shaped daytime running lights, a coupe-style roof and strong wheel arches. Inside, a connected infotainment system with large touchscreens, advanced ADAS features, and quality interior design are designed to provide an engaging experience to customers.
As per estimates, its battery capacity is 79 kWh, which can provide a range of 683 km on a single charge. Power is expected to be around 200–250 hp. Mahindra plans to launch the BE.06 by the end of 2025.
On the other hand, the XUV.e9 (also referred to as XEV 9e in the media) is also attracting attention with its coupé-style design. It is also built on the INGLO platform and retains the features of Mahindra’s XUV models. It offers more class and style with features like a large cabin space, dynamic LED light bar and panoramic sunroof.Its battery capacity is expected to be around 79 kWh, offer a range of 656 km, and offer more than 300 hp in the top variant. Mahindra plans to launch it by mid-2025.
Mahindra BE 06 and XUV e9 Price
When these two cars hit the market, they will give competition to models like Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, MG ZS EV and Tata Curvv EV. Due to the indigenous manufacturing, the price is expected to be in the range of ₹25–35 lakh (ex-showroom).
