Mahindra XEV 9e: Mahindra, one of India’s proudest automobile companies, is now ready to introduce two new electric cars to the market. The special thing is that its design is beyond imagination. Mahindra is now bringing the design found in luxury cars at an affordable price. Some photos of this coupe-style electric SUV car are attracting people. Mahindra has manufactured two electric cars under the INGLO Technology Architecture. The company had said that it would unveil the cars on November 26. Sources said that XEV 9e deliveries will start in the last quarter of 2025.
Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e: Features
While the Mahindra BE 6e gets a dual-screen design, the XEV 9e gets a triple-screen design. Both the electric vehicles feature a large panoramic sunroof, ADAS and a square steering wheel with the BE logo on it. The steering wheel also has toggle buttons on the right side.
Similarly, the XEV 9e has a more distinctive look thanks to its coupe roofline, along with a straight front design with inverted L-shaped connected LED DRLs up front and vertically aligned dual-barrel LED headlights. This is connected to the LED taillights.
On the inside, the Mahindra XEV 9e gets a triple-screen setup with a digital driver display, a central touchscreen, and a passenger display. The BE 6e, on the other hand, gets dual-integrated screens. Both EVs feature a 2-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logos and a panoramic sunroof.
The Mahindra XEV 9E electric SUV will be offered with a battery capacity between 60 and 80 kW. It is expected to come with a fast charging capacity of up to 175 kW. It will charge the batteries from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 20 minutes. This electric SUV will offer a range of around 500 km on a single charge.
On the other hand, the Mahindra BE 6E is expected to get a similar battery pack option, which is likely to offer a range of around 450 to 500 km on a single charge. Both these cars are said to be completely futuristic and will create a new wave in the electric vehicle segment. Mahindra had earlier said that it would be available in rear-wheel drive (RWD), front-wheel drive (FWD), or all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations.
Both the electric SUVs are expected to feature a strong safety package with 6 airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology.
The Mahindra XEV 9e is likely to come with several premium features including multi-zone AC, wireless phone charger, premium audio system and ventilated, powered seats. Being an EV, it could also offer features like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and multiple regenerative (re-generation) modes.
