Nothing Phone 3 Launch: Nothing has officially launched its most ambitious smartphone yet, the Nothing Phone (3). Announced at a live event in London on July 2, 2025, the phone promises to combine a bold design with flagship-level hardware, taking direct aim at rivals like the iPhone 16, Samsung Galaxy S25, and Google Pixel 9.

Global pre-orders will begin from July 4, and it will officially go on sale from July 15 via Nothing’s website, Amazon, and select retail partners. In India, the starting price for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is ₹62,999, while the higher 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model is priced at ₹72,999.

The standout feature of the Nothing Phone (3) is its 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display with a resolution of around 2800×1260 (1.5K), thanks to a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, delivering ultra-smooth visuals. The screen boasts a peak HDR brightness of up to 4,500 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i on the front and Gorilla Glass Victus on the back. This design maintains the Nothing brand’s signature transparent look while adding durability for everyday use.
Hardware aside, nothing stands out in terms of innovation with the Glyph Matrix. This new system replaces the classic Glyph interface with a 25×25-pixel micro-LED display on the back, with a total of 489 LEDs. It can also display interactive notifications, tools like clocks and battery meters, and fun mini-apps called “Glyph Toys,” like the Magic 8 Ball or Spin-the-Bottle. Additionally, it comes with a glyph button that users can tap to activate these features or quickly check status updates.
On the software side, the phone (3) runs Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, which is packed with AI-powered tools like Essential Search, Flip to Record (which automatically records and summarizes meetings), and Essential Space for organizing screenshots and notes. Nothing promises five years of major Android updates and seven years of security patches, adding long-term value to buyers.

Nothing Phone (3) packs a powerful Snapdragon 8sGen4 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of fast UFS4.0 storage. It brings significant performance improvements over its predecessor, promising smoother multitasking, faster gaming, and advanced AI capabilities.
The device packs a robust 5,150mAh silicon-carbon battery (5,500mAh in the Indian version) that supports 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, ensuring that it can meet the demands of heavy users.

For photography enthusiasts, the Nothing Phone (3) features an impressive quad-camera setup that includes four 50-megapixel sensors. These include a primary wide camera with OIS, a telephoto periscope lens that offers 3x optical zoom and macro capabilities, an ultra-wide lens, and a high-resolution 50MP front-facing camera.
