The much-awaited trailer of Ramayana has finally been released, creating a lot of excitement among fans of Indian cinema and mythology. The film, which is largely based on the ancient epic, is expected to reach out to all generations with its cutting-edge technology, huge budget and powerful cast.

Director Nitesh Tiwari, who is best known for his films Dangal and Chhichhore, is directing Ramayana. The project has been in the works for several years and the team is paying special attention to ensure that it reaches a global audience without compromising on the original story.
The film’s budget is reportedly around ₹600 crore, making it the biggest production in Indian cinema. Top VFX teams have been roped in to recreate the mythical cities of Ayodhya and Lanka.

Sai Pallavi as Sita
Yash as Ravana (KGF fame)
The teaser beautifully depicts the grand scenes of Ayodhya, the powerful battle scenes, Rama’s courage and Sita’s emotional silence. Yash’s first look as Ravana has grabbed a lot of attention and has increased the curiosity among the audience.
Although the release date has not been officially announced, the first part is likely to be released in late 2025 or early 2026. The film will be released in multiple parts.
