Realme has launched its new flagship model – Realme GT 8 Pro, which is competing in the premium segment with cutting-edge features. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is known for its fast processing and gaming performance. It is paired with an R1 X co-processor, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage options. This offers a great combination of speed, performance and stability.
Display and Design
The Realme GT 8 Pro features a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED 2K display with a resolution of 1440 × 3136 pixels. It has a 144Hz refresh rate and 7000 nits peak brightness, which provides an excellent visual experience for gaming and video viewing. The 3200Hz touch sampling rate offers more responsive touch control for gamers. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is provided under the display, which helps in fast and secure unlocking.
In terms of design, this phone is very different, with interchangeable camera modules being its key feature. Users can change the camera module design (round, square or robotic style) according to their preference. In addition, this phone has an IP68/69 standard water and dust resistance, and stereo speakers enhance the sound quality.
Processor and Performance Features
The Realme phone uses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (SM8850-AC) chipset. Built on 3nm technology, it is currently Qualcomm’s best and fastest flagship processor.
Camera Features
The main strength of the Realme GT 8 Pro lies in its camera department. Its triple camera system includes:
50MP main sensor – Developed in collaboration with Ricoh (Ricoh GR Optics). It features a 7-element lens, anti-reflection coating, and OIS technology.
200MP periscope telephoto lens – With 3x optical and 12x lossless zoom, it provides a minimum focus distance of about 25cm.
50MP ultra-wide lens – With a 116° wide-angle field of view.
Video recording supports 8K @ 30fps, 4K @ 120fps, Dolby Vision, and 10-bit LOG format, making it a great choice for professional videographers. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera, which supports AI beautification and HDR.
Battery and Charging
The Realme GT 8 Pro is equipped with a 7000mAh battery, which provides enough power for long-term use. It charges from 0% to 100% in just 20 minutes with a 120W SuperDart fast charging facility. 50W wireless charging is also provided on some models.
Connectivity and Other Features
The phone has added features like Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, IR blaster, stereo speakers, and X-axis linear haptic motor. Realme has said that it will provide at least 4 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates.
Realme GT 8 Pro Price
The Realme GT 8 Pro was launched in China in October 2025. It will be launched in India in November on Flipkart and Realme’s official site. Pricing in China starts at ₹50,000, with the high-end 16GB + 1TB model costing around ₹64,000.
