Tecno Pova Slim 5G has made a grand entry into the Indian smartphone market. With an ultra-slim design, powerful battery and advanced AI features, this phone is available for just ₹19,999. Officially launched on September 4, 2025, the phone will go on sale on Flipkart and select retail stores from September 8.
Design and Display: Super Slim Surprise
At just 5.95 mm thick and weighing 156 grams, the Tecno Pova Slim 5G is touted as the world’s smallest curved display smartphone. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling and 4,500 nits peak brightness support. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Durability and Protection
Not only beauty, but durability is also a priority. This phone has MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and an IP64 rating, which protects it from shock, dust, and water splashes. There is a dynamic mood light on the back that lights up for calls and notifications.
Performance and Software: Powered by AI
The Tecno Pova Slim 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 5G+ chipset. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, along with 8GB of expandable RAM. Despite its compact design, it packs a large 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging support.
In terms of connectivity, it has 5G+ carrier aggregation, 4×4 MIMO, and TÜV High Network Performance certification. In addition, Tecno’s FreeLink feature allows you to connect directly to your phone via Bluetooth even in areas without a network.
In terms of software, the phone runs on Android 15 with HiOS 15. It includes Tecno’s AI assistant Ella AI. It offers many useful features such as AI call management, AI writing, image editing, circle to search, and privacy blur. Notably, Ella AI also supports Indian languages.
Camera Capabilities
A 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens are provided on the rear, while there is a 13MP camera on the front. Both of these are helpful for 2K video recording.

Available for ₹19,999, this smartphone comes in an 8GB + 128GB variant. It will be available in Cool Black, Sky Blue, and Slim White colours. The sale will start on September 8, 2025.
