Vodafone Idea 5G Launch: Vodafone Idea (V!) has emerged as the third largest telecom operator in the country. It has officially confirmed the launch of its 5G services in select regions. Almost a year and a half after Airtel and Jio started offering 5G services, Vodafone Idea has launched 5G services in the country.
Vodafone Idea 5G Launch in India
According to a Telecom Talk report, Vodafone Idea 5G service has been launched in 17 cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata and New Delhi. Currently, this rollout is done on a small scale because even in these cities, 5G service is available only in select locations. This is an indication that the company will soon enter the 5G segment.

Vodafone Idea 5G Plans and Price
Vodafone Idea (Vi) has deployed 5G service in both 3.3GHz and 26GHz spectrum which can be used by prepaid and postpaid users. Vodafone Idea users can activate the 5G network on their devices.
Vodafone Idea Prepaid users will have to activate the Rs 475 plan to get 5G service. Postpaid users need to activate the REDX 1101 plan for 5G connectivity.
